Stunt Coordinator Egypt super stunts on Bank el Haz 2017

Stunt Coordinator Egypt and working on Bank el Haz 2017

Working as a Stunt Coordinator Egypt was a new challenge for Deni Jordan who had the privilege of working on this truly exciting project. One standout film that showcases the skill and creativity of my stunt team is the 2017 Egyptian action-comedy “Bank el Haz” (“The Lucky Bank”). This film, which has been promoted for its action-filled sequences and clever comic plot twists, not only delighted audiences throughout Egypt and the Middle East area but also highlighted the unique challenges of making a film under time and budget pressures.
Here, we’ll touch on the cool stunts we achieved, including fight choreography, wirework, motorcycle stunts, and parkour, and shine the spotlight on the outstanding work of the stuntteam and action director Deni Jordan, who led our team each step of the way.

Stunt Coordinator Egypt A Challenging Yet Rewarding Project

Stunt Coordinator Egypt

It was a challenging yet rewarding experience working as an Egyptian stunt coordinator on “Bank el Haz”. As with any action comedy movie, there was pressure to create iconic, hilarious adrenaline-pumping action set pieces that would leave audiences awed and laughing. Unlike big Hollywood films, however, we were working on a very low budget, tight schedule, and with a very small but immensely talented stunt team. Despite all of these constraints, we were determined to put the best action on offer and to create moments that would keep people entertained.

Deni Jordan: A Tight Budget Action Master

A further factor in “Bank el Haz” being able to execute such thrilling action scenes so successfully was as Stunt Coordinator in Egypt Deni Jordan. Deni, who was the action director and stunt coordinator, was thrown into choreographing the film’s action scenes after the previous local Egyptian Stunt Coordinator did not provide the level of action the production required.
Being a Stunt Coordinator Egypt, Deni Jordans direction was priceless, especially considering the obstacles him and his team were facing. Having extremely little time to set up the stunts and a limited budget for equipment and personnel, European Stuntteams  expertise was executed and forced to think very fast and creatively. They worked with everything they had to make sure that each stunt—be it a complicated motorcycle scene inside the movie studio or a complex but funny fight sequence—was executed flawlessly. European Stuntteam´s ability to adapt and overcome these difficulties was remarkable, and their determination paid off in a product that pleased not only Egyptian audiences but the entire Middle East.

Stunts in “Bank el Haz”: Fights, Wirework, and More

One of the standouts of this film was the variety of  Egyptian stunts  that we performed. From high-octane fight choreography to well executed wirework, “Bank el Haz” had it all.
  • Fight Scenes: The fight choreography in “Bank el Haz” was superb. Our team worked tirelessly to create lively, realistic comedy fight scenes that were plausible yet fitting with the comedic theme of the movie. We fused classical martial arts with street altercations, incorporating fresh moves and comic timing that added to the overall attraction of the movie.
  • Wirework:  The movie also required intricate wirework to deliver some of the jaw-dropping stunt scenes. From a character jumping off a balcony to a character being thrown across a room, we carefully ensured that the wire stunts were not just visually appealing but also safe for the actors & stunts.
  • Motorcycle Stunts:  One of the highlights of the movie was a motorcycle stunts. The driving done in the set piece amongst actors and extras and doing dangerous tricks were meticulously choreographed by our team, with safety being of the utmost importance. The motorcycle scene added another level of intensity to the action that kept viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
  • Parkour:  Finally, the parkour sequences were another highlight of “Bank el Haz”. Utilizing the set inside the filmstudio, we created parkour stunts that showcased the agility and skill of the characters. With balcony jumps and high-wire acrobatics, the parkour elements were not just visually stunning but also a central part of the film’s action.

  • The Legacy of “Bank el Haz” in the Middle East
Despite the low budget and time constraints, “Bank el Haz” was a hit in the Middle East, with audiences commending the film for its action sequences and riveting performances. As an “Egyptian stunt coordinator”, it was very fulfilling to be a part of a project that resonated with local audiences, showcasing the talent and skill of stunt performers from European Stuntteam. The film proved that, with the right creative vision and dedicated crew, even limited resources can yield impressive results.

Conclusion

In filmmaking, the job of a “stunt coordinator Egypt”  is often undervalued, yet it is a critical contribution to the success of many action-packed films. Being able to work on “Bank el Haz” as action director and stunt coordinator meant that Deni Jordan had the opportunity to push what we could achieve within the constraints of the project. With Deni Jordan at the helm, we were able to create amazing fight choreography, wirework, motorcycle stunts, and parkour sequences that were not only entertaining but exciting.
This project is the ultimate mirror of the talent, creativity, and efforts of the Stunts in Egypt performed by European Stuntteam. Pushing the envelope to create and develop the action of the Middle East and raise the bar moving towards Hollywood standards and expectations.
Bank el Haz is rumored to be in development for a sequel so there could potentially be work for European Stuntteam and Deni Jordan as Stunt Coordinator Egypt.
